Nikon D5000 12.3 MP DX Digital SLR Camera review

Great Camera. If you're new to the game DSLR (like me) or you update and you can fork up the cash, it has certainly been worth it. It has a very concise, simple and easy to use interface, the buttons are well placed, and the swivel LCD screen is very nice and useful in certain situations (I love how it folds inward to protect the screen). My main purpose of this unit is still photos for the video is cool and a bonus is surprisingly better than I thought (but if you want to make serious HD video, I would go for an HD camcorder or something else instead ).

The D5000 is essentially a D90 body stuck in a smaller lighter (of course it lacks the internal AF motor, not as good adhesion, and has a slightly smaller viewfinder pentamirror instead of the pentaprism in the D90 - all among some other things, but hey, it's cheaper for a reason - he is also admitted that the D5000 has an additional mode to display online a bit more editing tools camera, and several scene modes compared to the D90 - all helpful for someone new to the NPC in the sense that you can learn from them or simply use them to make your life easier and your pictures are superb).

So far I love it. It is simple to use and ideal for novices in DSLR, but it also packs enough punch for those who seek to improve and give newcomers a lot to learn and grow with it.
